Amazon.com Product Description Equipped with Stiga's patented Quickplay design, the Stiga Metro tennis table goes from box to play in roughly three minutes, making it a great choice for basement or garage use. The Metro is sturdy and stable, with 1-1/2-inch round steel tube legs and a 1-1/2-inch steel apron that provides extra table support. It's also a breeze to move the table from room to room thanks to the 2-inch double-wheel casters. Most importantly, the table plays confidently, with a 5/8-inch dark green top, metallic green chassis, and regulation-style edge banding and striping. The Metro table measures 9 by 2-1/2 by 5 feet (W x H x D) and carries a one-year warranty.

Good but not perfect April 18, 2010 C. Barb 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Delivery was quick, typical Amazon. Table is heavy, assembling it is a job for 2. Assembly was very easy however. The net provided is too short, we had attach it with rubber straps.
Good Product After Easy Set-Up April 2, 2010 BKoz (VA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is an excellent table. It's solid and does the job it's supposed to do. But the real winner about it is how easy it was to set up. I took my time and it was about 10 minutes from opening the box to having it ready to play.
My 5 star rating is only for the product. The delivery company, ABF Freight, would get 1 star.
As good as advertised! March 17, 2010 Tim Lee 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Can't believe this ping pong table was actually as easy to assemble as everyone said - it is, or even more so! So easy a caveman could do it blindfolded, as long as he has an adult assistant. And, even better, it takes a matter of a couple of minutes at most to get it set up and then folded back up for each play period. Highly recommended!!
awesome table great price February 26, 2010 KH (Midwest) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After shopping for tables for about a week or two and reading hundreds of reviews I purchased the Stiga Metro. All of the great reviews of this table were absolutely true and very helpful.
This table is very easy to assemble and it took a total of about 15 minutes from opening the box to playing on it. I was able to move the table to the basement by myself by carrying the pieces down separtely. It did take two of us to attached each side of the table to the base only because the table sides are awkward to hold. After reading horror stories in other table reviews about assembly taking up to 5 hours I knew the Stiga Metro was the table for me and it truly is a quick play design.
It seems like a pretty solid table. You get what you pay for and I didn't want to pay a lot for a new table. The table is easy for one person to fold up for storage or playback. When first folding the table all the way out the two table pieces were not flush in the middle, but it was easy to fixe by moving the table pieces. Once the net gets attached the table stays flush. There is a gap while in playback mode but it didn't bother me and it made me play a little harder. I have not noticed that the table surface marks up easily but I have only played on it for one night now, so time will tell.
I am very happy with the table for the price. I could not find this model in local stores so I ordered through Amazon which worked out great since they shipped the table to my door. Amazon's shipping cost was less expensive than other sites I shopped on.
Easy to assemble February 22, 2010 Chemosabe (Portland, OR) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Very easy to assemble, if you have 2 strong persons to lift the board. Best with 3rd person to fit the poles into the tubing. Took me longer to get the table out of the box then putting it together. Very nice design, and folds easily. It is also easy to practice alone with one side of the table up. Delivery was easy also, with 2 days notice on delivery time.
